Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
And that, my friend, is why our mom and dad celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today.
Mom and Dad, you are such a blessing to us and everyone around you. Congratulations on this awesome day. We hope your time in Hawaii is relaxing and fun-filled. If you take lots of pictures, we’ll get them up here on this blog to share with everyone.
Dave, Rod and I could not manage to get our schedules together to record a happy anniversary greeting. So, we enlisted the services of a group that we know you love.
Click the PLAY button and enjoy.
Love,
Dave, Dawn, Dan, Alysa, Mike, Nick
Ron, Mona, Anna, Ben, Emily

A super-hearty *C*O*N*G*R*A*T*U*L*A*T*I*O*N*S* to you on a milestone anniversary! May you continue to live, love and laugh together for many more years!
You look like a sweet couple (and I know you are just from knowing one of your children– he’s a special guy who obviously has fantastic parents!)
Warm regards always,
Donna

The Flinstones remind me of one of the last times I got to spend with all of you guys (at the outdoor). Poor Rod. He had such a sunburn! Love it! (the movie, not the sunburn)
For Patsy and Earl (yes, I know, many call you Pat. I don’t know how that happened, but I wish I could explain to them that your name is Patsy). This is such an important anniversary for you guys! I hope you know how much you are loved (and missed) and how important you are to all of us. You brought Earl into our lives and that is a blessing I would never part with. He and Harlan have a lot in common. They’ve put up with us O’Keeffe girls pretty well, haven’t they? I hope we have no problem making it to 50. I didn’t start as early, but I did finally get it right. I’m glad you got it right the first time. All you Huttons, appreciate my Patsy. She is my hero. And appreciate your dad. He’s terrifically perfect. Patsy and Earl, enjoy this time together and remember we are all back here jealous that you are having more fun than we are. Love you love you love you.
